What is City of Water Day?
A region-wide day of free, family-friendly events on or near the water!
July 12th

Dozens of communities across all five boroughs, Westchester and Rockland counties, and New Jersey will host events on and near the water that celebrate the importance of a resilient and equitably shared waterfront. From free kayaking to rowing to hands-on workshops, these events offer community members opportunities for fun, education, and access to their local waterfront.

This region has over 500 miles of coastline, making our shared waterways a defining lifeline of our communities. We wanted to make something to enhance the connections and participation at City of Water Day so you could immerse youself in the waterways of our region no matter where you are. Something not only fun but meaningful. We hope you dive in, sometimes even literally :).
